About me!

My name is Anna, welcome to my website. I am a licensed RN, BSN. I have a dog named Mia. She is a Shiba Inu which means, "Small Brushwood Dog" in Japanese. I am expecting a baby boy in March of 2024 and I am married to a talented pilot. One of my greatest joys in life outside of serving people is going flying and seeing new places. My husband is an avid Ham Radio Operator and serves the community through the LifeFlight Operations Center.

I love the beach! I lose a sense of time when I am feeling the sand beneath my toes. Some of my favorite memories are going to the beach with my family.

I was born in Provo, Utah. I went to Rock Canyon Elementary School and I attended Meridian Private School. I attended Timpview High School and graduated with a high GPA followed by completion of my MA, EMT and CNA my senior year. I served more than 200 hours of volunteer service with Intermountain Health while in High School. While working towards my MA, EMT and CNA I completed two internships. One was at Utah Valley Hospital in Radiology and the other was at Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Labor and Delivery. The following departments I was able to serve were: Book Cart, Gift Shop, OR and then the ER. I have always wanted to be a nurse. Most Halloween's I would dress up as a nurse. My Fisher Price nurse kit was my favorite toy to play with growing up.

After High School I started work as an MA in Family Medicine. After a year in Family Medicine I switched to Cardiovascular Surgery. I worked with one of the top Cardiothoracic Surgeons in the world where I learned how to be an advocate for patients and their safety. I learned how to work hard and how to be a communications specialist within the healthcare system.
